Business Intelligence (BI) has been viewed as sets of powerful tools and approaches to improving business executive decision-making, business operations, and increasing the value of the enterprise. This literature review presents the development of business Intelligence in recent years. Architecture, technologies, performance evaluation and applications four aspects are discussed to illustrate the BI used technology and the future trend. It presents how to improve the BI efficiency and what method is adopted for enterprise to solve the problems which they encounter.

A novel partially observable Markov decision process (POMDP) based admission control scheme is presented for SDN-based media delivery network. The performance bottleneck of service nodes on the application layer, and the service ability limit of transmission links between nodes and users are comprehensively considered, then the POMDP is used to model the admission control process of the service system. The randomized policy is applied to optimize system performance, and the policy-gradient iteration algorithm is used to compute the optimal admission control policy. Numerical experiment illustrates the efficiency of the proposed approach.

With the advent of big data, the Internet data traffic has taken over people's lives. How to analyze these mass data has become an imperative problem to be solved recently. Traffic matrix has been a useful traffic model for addressing a variety of problems from the whole-network perspective. The principal challenge presented by Origin-Destination (OD) traffic matrix is that OD traffic matrix usually forms a high dimensional multivariate structure. In this paper we introduce an improved Isomap algorithm, Efficient-Isomap (E-Isomap), which is a much more efficient nonlinear dimension reduction tool than the classic Isomap, then we apply E-Isomap to real OD traffic matrix taken from the backbone network (Abilene). The simulation results show that the high-dimensional OD traffic matrix has a small intrinsic dimension and there indeed exists a low-dimensional manifold structure. The computing analysis and residual variance analysis indicate that E-Isomap is capable of finding the manifold structure of the high-dimensional OD traffic matrix more efficiently in keeping accuracy constant.

In order to understand the friction characteristics of hot-pressing bit matrix and granite under dry sliding conditions, the influence law of hardness and diamond concentration to the friction coefficient was analyzed and discussed with the data of friction coefficient and torque under different conditions. Three groups of hot-pressing matrix samples of different hardness and three groups of hot-pressing matrix samples with different diamond concentration were chosen. The friction and wear tests were carried out between hot-pressing matrix samples and granite samples. The results showed that the friction torque and coefficient firstly increased, and then decreased with the increase of hardness in dry friction experiments between granite sample and matrix sample without diamond. Compared with data from matrix sample without diamond, the friction torque and friction coefficient decreased significantly when test was carried between granite sample and impregnated diamond matrix sample. The friction torque and coefficient increased with the increase of diamond concentration.

In order to classify the remote sensing land-use objects efficiently with the very high resolution (VHR) remote sensing images, this letter proposes a remote sensing object classification method based on bag of visual words (BOV) model. This method combines the scale invariant feature transform (SIFT) feature and the texture feature as remote sensing words. Then, the remote sensing words are used for generating word frequency histograms. The histogram is the bridge of the remote sensing words and the classifier. At last, in the classifier design section, the histogram intersection kernel (HIK) is adopted in the SVM. We use the proposed classification method to classify the UC Merced dataset and self-made dataset. Experimental results show that the proposed remote sensing object classification method yields better classification than the existing methods in terms of the classification accuracy.

For an IT service provider, incident management process in which particularly incident prioritization plays a pivotal role in the improvement of service quality and maximization of business profits. Traditional prioritization methods are concern impact and urgency exclusively but overlook financial losses and risks. In this work, an optimal method is proposed using Business Driven IT Management (BDIM) concepts and risk decision-making theory, whereby numbers of incidents can be prioritized to minimize the sum of business losses and risks. The method captures the linkage between IT decisions and business impacts through risk management and sensitivity analysis. A real network is discussed to demonstrate the value of the approach.

The fault analyze for MEMS gyro is a crucial phase in the gyro design follow. When it is applied in the critical system, it is often causes huge damage once the gyro fails.If the potential failure mode and effect can be predicted at an early stage of the MEMS gyro design, it will decrease the design cost greatly. For gyro structure is flexible and liable to be destroyed compared its volume with its area.The structure susceptible to outside force and be defected in the manufacture process and usage. Gyro is mainly composed of typical structures such as comb diver,parallel plate capacitor and cantilever. So the fault simulation focus in plate crack, broken cantilever that are always happen in the manufacture and usage process. One major cause of faulty behavior in MEMS is due to particulate contaminations especially located between the fix and the movable comb. So analysis is restricted to fault simulation in system level and components level for the typical structures and relies on integrating qualitative failure analysis and quantitative fault simulation.

In the process of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of Marine power system, it is necessary to use the special software of oil analyzer to extract the fault features of oil.To simplify the work, a method is proposed, which searches binary data and converts it to floating point number, and then compares it with the search value to determine the position of floating point number in the file. Thus, a set of auxiliary format parsing tools based on API function to automatically obtain eigenvalue are designed.This tool has been used to test the data of real ship oil spectrum instrument of ship power system. Results show that the algorithm is feasible and can automatically obtain the corresponding position, floating-point type instrument data correctly the separating equipment data storage format, get rid of the limitation of the instrument special built-in software, can be used to implement from instrument data file automatically obtain the content of the need to save or make use of integration analysis.
